The Vandalia Youth Basketball Association is a non-profit organization and our purpose is to provide a competitive traveling basketball program to compete throughout the Dayton and surrounding area for boys and girls in the Vandalia-Butler school district. These teams emphasize basic fundamentals, good sportsmanship, team play and positive reinforcement working toward a higher level of skill development and general understanding of the game. The goal of the organization is to select local Vandalia-Butler student athletes for enhanced development opportunities as a member of one of its teams. Players will be selected on merit and qualifications without discrimination due to race, national origin, religion or other non-merit factors. The organization does retain the right to select players based on their future being a student at one of the Vandalia-Butler Jr. High Schools and the High School. The organization’s objectives are to build those student athletes that will be able to compete for Vandalia-Butler School District teams.
